Busy Bees

Mommy and Daddy have sure been busy. Mommy planned my nursery and Daddy got to paint it. He did a really fantastic job. I can't wait to live in it! Mommy's been busy buying things (her favorite thing to do). She bought me a beautiful bookshelf off etsy.com and a rocker from Amazon. She is a woman of the new century, that mother of mine.

I said hello to Mommy at the doctor again this Monday. The doctor doesn't ever really tell Mommy much, but my heartbeat was 160 and I'm growing strong. You can tell, because Mommy's starting to wonder when she'll see her toes again. Well, just 17ish weeks until I get to meet everyone. Can't wait!

I'm a Little Alien Baby

Here's my mug. I look like an alien, but that's OK. Who doesn't like a little ET?

For All of Those Concerned

Mommy has been very busy planning my nursery. First, Grandma Rinard bought me my Pack N' Play and my swing. I just LOVE it. I can't wait to hear that music and vibration and the colors are beautiful. Thanks, Grandma.

Next, Mommy found this gorgeous changer on Craigslist. Turns out, even though it looked like an antique, it was brand new and both her and Daddy fell in love with it. Grandpa Adams took Mommy out there to pick it up. What a bargain! And it totally matches my crib.

Today, Mommy finally decided on a bedding set for me and Daddy let her buy it because, basically, she wore him down. It was also a bargain. I can't wait till they get it in because then they can paint my room. Don't forget...I like pink, Mom.

Love,
Sophie

Big News!

Today Mommy and Daddy got to see me for the second time. It will probably be the last time until I am born. That's a long time to wait...4 months!! The doctor told them a few things. First, I look healthy and strong. That's the best news. Second, I'm right on schedule. I'm 15 oz...almost a whole pound!! Lastly, she told them the big news. I'm a GIRL. When she said "You are going to have a little girl baby" Mommy started laughing and smiling. My home was jiggling all over the place I thought it was an earthquake. I'm still dizzy. Daddy just smiled and shook his head. He said something about it being God's joke on him. Something about a house full of women. Who knows? But I could tell both Mommy and Daddy are super excited. I'm already planning on wrapping Daddy around my little tini-tiny finger. I really put on a show this afternoon and Mommy and Daddy could REALLY tell I'm female. Can't wait to get into that pink nursery Daddy's going to paint for me! Until then,

I Get A Kick Outta You, Too, Mom

Yesterday I kicked Mommy. Sure I'd been moving around for quite a while now, but yesterday I thought I try out my true leg muscles for the first time. It worked! After I did it I heard Mommy screech and run into Daddy. That was a lot of fun so I did it a few more times that evening. It was nice to stretch my legs a little, but I got wore out and went to sleep. I'll have to remember that excercise during the next few months. I'm sure I'll have just as much fun doing it again.

Today, Grandma and Grandpa Adams bought me my crib. It's beautiful (at least that's what Mommy told me). I'm really excited to sleep in it. I bet it's just great. And it will look wonderful in my nursery.

Love,
Baby Rinard

P.S.-only five more days before my big debute!

Halfway There

It's been an exhausting 4 and a half months. Let me tell you. I've been busy growing organs and ears and hair on my body. But the good news is that I am half way there. In just 20 more weeks I am going to come out and say hello to Mommy and Daddy and all of my family and friends. I know there's a lot 'cause I can hear them all, now. Next week my heart will get to beat hello to Mommy and Daddy. I know she's pretty excited about it, and I bet Daddy is, too. Best of all, they can start preparing my nursery. Pink or blue? I'm not telling...until next week. I hope all of you will become "followers" of my blog, whatever that means, so we can keep in touch with each of you and show you the many pictures that are sure to come. Well, it's time for me to go turn somersaults in my mommy's womb. See ya!
